Texas picked up a crystal ball prediction from 4-star running back LJ Johnson Tuesday and that seemed to have been good news for Oklahoma fans. The the thought behind that is Johnson’s commitment to the Longhorns means the Sooners were close to landing coveted 5-star running back Camar Wheaton.
A native of Garland, Texas (Lakeview Centennial), Wheaton is the #2 running back prospect for the 2021 class and the #2 overall prospect from the state of Texas according to 247 composite rankings. Boasting 27 total scholarship offers Wheaton (5-11/190) has two crystal ball predictions and they are both for Oklahoma.
OUInsider Brandon Drumm is the latest to give Oklahoma a crystal ball prediction for Wheaton, putting it out on Wednesday morning. He joins Irish Illustrated’s Tom Loy who offered his prediction on December 12th of last year.
