Setting the Stage

The no. 6 Oklahoma State Cowboys (4-0) enter today’s game against the Texas Longhorns (3-2) with the number of national eyes on them continuing to grow. The Cowboys have not just the best defense in the Big 12 conference so far, but they have one of the best defenses in the entire nation.

On the flip side, the Longhorns have the best offense in the Big 12 and one of the best offenses in the country. This game could easily be a battle of which strength will break first, but either way, it’s sure to be a good one.

Texas owns the all-time series with Oklahoma State with a record of 25-9, but the Cowboys have won 4 of the last 5 and 7 of the last 10. 5 of the last 8 meetings between the two rivals have been decided by less than a touchdown, and this one is expected to be a close one as well.
