Awards season is upon us and Oklahoma State isn’t short on candidates. Receiver Tylan Wallace was named one of eleven semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award after producing an average of 16.5 yards per reception in 2020.
The Cowboys were eliminated from the Big 12 championship race on Saturday but that doesn’t take away from the fantastic season, and career, Wallace has had at Oklahoma State. The senior receiver from Ft. Worth, Texas paces the Cowboys in receptions (53), yards (877), yards per reception average (16.5), and receiving touchdowns (6). He joins ten other receivers from around the country as a 2020 Biletnikoff semifinalist. The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.
