Oklahoma’s 2022 class dropped a member on Monday when 4-star receiver Jordan Hudson announced that he had decommitted. The 6-1/180 product from Garland, Texas is back on the market and thought to be a lean towards SMU. The Mustangs picked up a crystal ball prediction for Hudson on Monday from 247Sports expert Billy Embody.
Hudson is ranked as the #14 receiver in the 2022 recruiting class and the #23 overall player from the state of Texas. He currently holds 21 scholarship offers.
His de-commitment from Oklahoma leaves the Sooners with eight members of the 2022 class with two of them being highly sought-after receivers in Luther Burden (5-star) and Talyn Shettron (4-star). The Sooners have made a total of 19 offers to receivers in the 2022 class so it’s safe to say they’ll stay in the market.
Oklahoma currently ranks 10th nationally and 2nd in the Big 12 in terms of the 2022 recruiting class.
