This Week’s Picks

Craig

Texas A&M at LSU | LSU needs this win to become bowl eligible on the season. Considering the home field advantage I think they can pull off the upset.

Iowa at Nebraska | I think this will be a super close matchup but at the end of the day Iowa is the better football team.

Cincinnati at East Carolina | Cincinnati has finally reached the top four in the CFP poll and I believe they’ll come out looking to prove they belong there. I like the Bearcats winning this one in stylish fashion.

Matt

Texas Tech at Baylor | Baylor is still alive in the Big 12 title hunt and would love to have another shot at Oklahoma State. Look for them to be focused and ready to go in this one. With questions surrounding Gerry Bohanon’s health look for Abram Smith to play a heavy role in the offensive game plan.

TCU at Iowa State | TCU needs this win for bowl eligibility and Iowa State needs it for respectability. Truth be told, I’m not sure how much the Frogs have left in the tank and Iowa State is looking to send Brock Purdy, Breece Hall, and Charlie Kolar out with a bang. Look for the Cyclones to rack up some big offensive numbers in this one.

West Virginia at Kansas | It’s hard not to jump on the Kansas bandwagon right now. Their season is over after Saturday but West Virginia is one of three Big 12 teams fighting for bowl eligibility on the final Saturday of the season. Give me the Mountaineers to take this game but the Jayhawks to keep it within the point spread.

Rich

Ohio State at Michigan | This one is simple…Michigan has never performed well against ranked opponents with Harbaugh at the helm of the program. On the other side of the equation, tOSU has a high powered offense that can score in bunches. Plus, I’m done betting against one of the hottest teams in the country right now…

Alabama at Auburn | The Crimson Tide continue to win but I’ve not been consistently impressed. In the Iron Bowl, Auburn brings the better rushing attack and has the ability to run and should put an emphasis on it. When opponents have eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground, Bama has struggled to pull away. That’s the scenario I’m hoping for once again here.

Penn State at Michigan State | After being exposed to big passing plays, the Spartans are looking vulnerable. Looking to salvage the season, Penn State is out for blood and will turn toward a healthy Sean Clifford to unleash the offense. If that happens, MSU could find themselves being dealt a third loss in four games.

Zack

Kentucky at Louisville | The Wildcats had such a nice start to the season, and they’ve been a bit of a disappointment ever since. I think they finish the season off with a nice road win against Louisville.

Iowa at Nebraska | I must be missing something because I don’t see how the Hawkeyes are the underdog in this one. Give me Iowa, easy.

Mississippi at Mississippi State | Ole Miss is overrated, but they’re going to win this rivalry game on the road.
