The Wolves have defeated the Thunder twice so far this season, once in OKC and once in Minneapolis.

Why the Thunder Will Cover (+9.5)

The Thunder picked up a big win against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night, but the Timberwolves are incredibly focused on making the playoffs, so I don’t think they’re going to let a game just slip by. Still, OKC USUALLY plays well in front of the home crowd—we’re just going to forget about Monday’s game against the Kings—so keeping this one within reach shouldn’t be too difficult.

Staff Picks

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (229.5)

This point total is enough to make me uncomfortable, but based on recent trends, I’m taking the over. The Thunder is hitting the over at an incredible pace lately, Minnesota is one of the better teams in the league at hitting the over, particularly on the road. As a result, I’m taking the over with some confidence, even if it might be slightly misplaced.
