Why the Thunder Will Cover (+14.5)
The Thunder remains as one of the best bets against the spread in the entire league, and as long as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander plays tonight, which he should, I’m feeling good about this line. The Celtics are one of the NBA’s hottest teams right now, but they’re missing some key pieces in Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III, so I’m thinking OKC can keep it to single digits.
Staff Picks
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (216.0)
Last night’s offense performance against Orlando was downright offensive, no pun necessary. Tonight should go differently, however, especially if SGA plays. The Celtics have perhaps the best defense in the league, but both Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III will be missing from action, and I think that’s enough to see a few more points scored in this one. I’m taking the over.
