Trends Against The Total
- OKC has hit the over 57% of the time this season.
- The Grizzlies have hit the over 53% of the time this season.
- The Thunder is 8-4-1 against the over at home this season.
- Memphis is 7-6 against the over on the road this season.
The Thunder is 0-2 against the Grizzlies this season (0-0 at home, 0-2 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (+8.5)
The Thunder really should have won last night against Minnesota, but the shots weren’t really falling, and they couldn’t finish quite as strong as they wanted after a terrible beginning to the game. OKC will have to get off to a much better start against the Grizzlies, but if they can manage that, I think covering the spread is definitely in play.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (233)
The Thunder has been JUST short of hitting the over on the point total the last few games, but with Memphis in town, I think the odds go up. The Grizzlies have been popping off lately. Add to the fact that OKC could really use a win, even if just for a morale boost to the home crowd, and I think we’re finally going to see the points tonight.
