Series History

The Thunder went 4-0 against the Blazers last season (2-0 at home, 2-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (+6.0)

Simply put, if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out again with a back contusion, the Thunder shouldn’t have a chance to win this one and probably not even cover, but I like what the second unit guys have been doing in the absence of Shai and other guys like Josh Giddey and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. I’m going to give the young guns a chance as underdogs and pick them to cover at home against Damian Lillard and the Blazers.

Staff Picks

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (229)

Yes, I’m picking OKC to cover the spread, but I don’t see them winning the game, and that will likely be because of their defense. The Thunder gives up a TON of three-point attempts and makes to opposing teams, and Damian Lillard is kind of good at that thing, if you hadn’t heard. I see the Blazers scoring a lot, and OKC should make some shots as well, so I’m taking the over on the point total.
