The Oklahoma City Thunder continued their dominance at home on Monday night when they manhandled the Memphis Grizzlies 116-97. For the second time in four games, the Thunder’s starters didn’t see much if any fourth quarter action as the game was well in hand. They have a much tougher test on Thursday night, however, as the NBA’s longest active winning streak enters the Paycom Center in the form of the LA Clippers.
The Clippers initially got off to a rough start since adding James Harden, but they have won 9 straight, including a 120-111 win over the Mavericks in Dallas last night. During the winning streak, LA has won 3 of the 9 on the road, but it’s fair to say that beating the Thunder in the Paycom Center right now will be a difficult challenge. Paul George is dealing with an illness, so he’s questionable to play, but besides that, the stars are healthy for both sides, so it should make for an action-packed game that comes down to the wire.
