Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #44 Preview: San Antonio Spurs

The Oklahoma City Thunder has struggled to shoot the ball recently, but that hasn’t stopped them from pulling out wins. Last night, OKC managed just a 111-109 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in the midst of some controversy surrounding an attempted time out by Blazers coach Chauncey Billups. Regardless of the situation, Jalen Williams hit a go-ahead shot 3 seconds to go.

Now OKC heads back out on the road for another road trip, and tonight they take on the San Antonio Spurs. Victor Wembanyama has had a solid rookie season thus far, and while the Spurs haven’t won many games, Wemby has so far proven to be pretty much what was expected out of him. He still has plenty of room to grow, but he’s putting up some impressive numbers, and while the Chet-Wemby argument seems to be the focus of many conversations, the Thunder need to focus on picking up another win and keeping their placement at the top of the West.
