Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #54 Preview: Orlando Magic

Advertisements

The Oklahoma City Thunder got back in the win column on Sunday afternoon as they defeated the Sacramento Kings 127-113. The Kings took a 4-0 lead to start the game before the Thunder went on a run to take a solid lead before the Kings battled back late in the first quarter. OKC would go on to lead by as many as 24 midway through the third quarter, and despite a heavy barrage of threes from Sacramento in the fourth, the Thunder were able to cruise comfortably to a win.

Now OKC travels to Orlando to take on the Magic for one last game before heading into the NBA All-Star Break. The Magic has had a surprisingly successful season, and similar to the Thunder, Orlando is probably a little ahead of their rebuild as their young squad has meshed quickly and figured out a way to win consistently.

A win for the Thunder would keep them near the top of the Western Conference standings, while a win for Orlando would keep them in a top-6 spot and out of the Play-In section. Either way, fans can expect a gritty matchup between two tough, young teams who want to head into the break with some momentum.
