The Oklahoma City Thunder wasted no time on Sunday night in extending their current win streak as they jumped on the visiting Memphis Grizzlies early and never looked back. Leading from start to finish, the Thunder’s starter sat out the entire fourth quarter as all 15 active players saw the court on the way to the 124-93 victory.
After a pretty effortless win against the Grizzlies, the level of competition increases for the next two games starting with tonight’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers. OKC is 24-11 against teams with a record of .500 or better, and Indiana has fared positive against teams with a winning record going 22-18. The Thunder obviously would like to stay atop the West in order to maintain home court advantage throughout the playoffs, but the Pacers are just barely outside of a top 6 spot in the East, which would allow them to skip the Play-In game. As the season winds down, there are plenty of games that have some type of postseason implication, but the Thunder need to focus on the task at hand and take care of business tonight.
