Series History

The Thunder are 2-1 against the Utah Jazz so far this season (1-0 at home, 1-1 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-15)

OKC continues to be a big favorite against the league’s lower echelon of teams, and despite Utah’s somewhat decent season at times, the Jazz are clearly on a downward trend as we enter the final stretch. Utah has lost 13 of their last 16 games, and 6 of those losses have been by at least 16 points. The Thunder are healthy, the Jazz are not, and OKC should be able to pick up an easy win in front of the home crowd.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (231)

Utah has struggled to score lately, but the primary reason for that is playing some of the league’s top defenses in Minnesota and Boston. OKC is definitely right up there with those teams defensively, but the Thunder also have one of the highest-scoring offenses in the league. I can see this one going the Thunder’s way early, which could lead to some extra Jazz points in garbage time. The three previous meetings this season have all hit the over, and while Utah is definitely missing some dudes, I’m still feeling good about the over.
