Series History

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-15)
OKC is a heavy favorite yet again, but this might be the most worth of large spreads in quite some time, even though the Thunder are on the road. The Toronto Raptors have lost 8 straight, and they are without their three arguably best players (Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley), so this one could go south quickly. Toronto has plenty of quality guys left that can play tough, physical basketball, which OKC has struggled with at times, but I think the Thunder’s ability to score and the lack of Toronto’s playmaking is going to lead to a massive blowout. Add to it that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is playing in the city in which he was born, and he could go scorched earth.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (229.5)
When it comes to expected blowouts, it’s hard to pick where the point total is going to fall, but I think one is going to land safely on the over side of things. A 130-110 final score seems likely, so I’m thinking a lot of points in this one.
