Series History

Why the Thunder Will Cover (+2)
OKC enters the new season as favorites to win the West and for good reason. The Thunder finished the regular season last season with the best record, and they return almost everybody from that squad while having added some key pieces. I see them starting off this season with a bang by picking up a quality road win against another Western Conference contender.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (228)
The Thunder’s strength this season is likely to be on the defensive side of the ball, much like last year, as they have quality defensive talents at every position. The Nuggets haven’t exactly known as a defensive squad, but they are definitely moving in the right direction. 3 of the 4 matchups from a season ago finished well under the 228-point mark, so I’m expecting the under on this one.
