The Oklahoma City Thunder continues their historic start to the season on Wednesday night as they once again travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets. At 7-0, the Thunder is the first team in NBA history to win the first 7 games of the season by double digits, and they have done it by at least 12 points or more. Meanwhile, Denver has struggled a bit out of the gate as they sit at 4-3 on the season, but they have won their last 2 and 4 of the last 5.
OKC has been about as consistent as they come so far, dominating on the defensive end while continually shooting the ball at a higher percentage. The Nuggets are a difficult matchup for the Thunder because of the versatility of 3x MVP Nikola Jokic, but they will be without Jamal Murray (concussion protocol) and Aaron Gordon (strained right calf), which drastically changes what they’re able to do.
