Series History

The Thunder is 1-0 against the Clippers so far this season (0-0 at home, 0-1 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-6.5)

No Chet Holmgren is certainly going to make this a more interesting game than the spread might show. Ivica Zubac has an opportunity to punish the Thunder in a number of ways—particularly when it comes to rebounding—but I believe in OKC’s ability to play fast enough to force him off the court, so I’m taking the Thunder’s depth to push them into a convincing win after a disappointing loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (219)

After a couple of games of giving up a decent chunk of points, the Thunder has to get back to shutting teams down. Playing without Chet Holmgren—with no true big man at all—is going to make that incredibly difficult, but going small will allow OKC to fly around and potentially force a lot of turnovers. I like the Thunder’s odds to turn this into a defensive game.
