Series History

The Thunder is 0-1 against the Warriors so far this season (0-1 at home, 0-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-2.5)

Last time these two teams met, Chet Holmgren went down early in the game with the injury that will keep him out until at least February, and the Thunder never could rally. This time, OKC has Isaiah Hartenstein on the floor, and I think he’s going to make a major difference against a team like the Warriors. With Steph Curry and Jonathan Kuminga both questionable, I like OKC’s odds to cover the small spread and even up the season series with Golden State.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (229.5)

OKC’s offense has found ways to go on runs at all the right times, and they’re going to need that to beat Golden State at the Chase Center. I anticipate plenty of defensive highlights, but another 4th quarter burst from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams would be nice. Last time these teams played, it was Steph Curry who popped off late. Let’s hope it’s the other way around this time. Either way, I’m taking the over on the point total.
