Series History

The Thunder went 2-0 against the Raptors last season (1-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-9.5)

Looking at their record, the Raptors are not a great team. However, their mark of 7-15 is slightly deceiving. Toronto’s margin of defeat is in the top half of the league, and despite being an underdog in all 22 of their games so far, they cover the spread twice as often as they don’t. Still, OKC appears to matchup with the Raptors extremely well, and as a result, I think the Thunder continues rolling after a big win over Utah on Tuesday.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (227)

OKC blew the Jazz out badly on Tuesday, and that’s why that game hit the over on the point total. I think Toronto is a much better opponent—plus, this game is on the road for the Thunder—and I think OKC’s defense is what’s going to be the difference. That will result in a lower scoring total, so I’m taking the under.
