Series History

The Thunder went 0-2 against the Pacers last season (0-1 at home, 0-1 on the road). OKC has won lost 8 of the last 10 games against Indiana and 5 of the last 6 against the Pacers in Indianapolis.

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-5.5)

OKC and Indiana are two of the hottest teams in the league right now. Neither is entirely healthy, but as far as this matchup goes, the Pacers could be in trouble if Myles Turner is unable to go at game time. Indiana is 29th in the league in rebounding already, and no Turner would make it even more difficult them. OKC’s depth will prove to be the difference maker, and in the end, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams will be too much to stop in the backcourt. Give me OKC by 10 in this one.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (227.5)

OKC and Indiana trend opposite when it comes to the point total, but the Thunder’s defense is going to keep the scoring in this one in the lower 200s. Indiana has 6 guys that average double digits in scoring, but the Thunder’s defense will stifle a lot of that. It’s going to take a big game from Tyrese Haliburton to push the scoring up, and while that may happen, I’m still taking the under on the point total.
