Series History

The Thunder went 1-1 against the Nets last season (1-0 at home, 0-1 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-16.5)

This is one of the largest spreads that OKC has had all season long, but they have covered twice when favored by at least 16 points. Brooklyn is extremely injured, and normally I would say that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander needs to play to cover this spread, but I think OKC takes care of business for yet another win at home. I do believe that Shai plays, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he sits to continue to rest that injured wrist.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (216.5)

OKC is going to score plenty of points, but I think Brooklyn really struggles against the Thunder’s defense. OKC has done a great job of treating every night like an important game, and even though this should be a massive blowout, expect the Thunder to come out with their typical energy which will result in forcing the Nets into turnovers and bad shots. I’m taking the under on the point total as OKC holds yet another opponent below 100 points.
