Thunder Against the Spread | Take the Thunder as Road Dogs

Kyrie Irving is back, but he can’t play at home. Kevin Durant and Patty Mills are out for rest. James Harden is playing, but he’s not exactly been healthy this season. All of these are reasons that I think the Thunder will keep this one close, and you never know…they might even get their first win of 2022.

Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #13: Miami Heat

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s win streak came to an end last night at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets, and the competition doesn’t get much easier tonight as the Thunder hosts the Miami Heat. After starting the season 6-1, the Heat are 8-5 after winning just 2 of their last 6.

Thunder Against The Spread | Does The Streak End With The Nets?

Oklahoma City is riding the hot hand of a 4-game winning streak and they’re playing at home where they’re averaging 105.6 points per game. The Nets are 3-4 against the spread when playing on the road this season and the Thunder are a strong 4-1 against the spread at home. When playing after a day off OKC is beating the spread 60% of the time. Meanwhile, Brooklyn is only covering 45% of the time following a day off. The Nets very easily could end Oklahoma City’s winning streak tonight but I’m a big fan of the Thunder and those points.

Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #12 Preview: Brooklyn Nets

I never thought we would be here. We’re 11 games into the season, and the Oklahoma City Thunder is somehow 5-6 and riding a 4-game win streak, the longest streak for the franchise since August of 2020 in the NBA Bubble. The team is in a very different place since then, and while I’m not entirely certain OKC is tanking—at least in a traditional sense of the word—I don’t expect them to win very many games the rest of the season, starting with tonight.

OKC Thunder | The 10 Home Games I Can’t Wait to Attend

Now, as the Thunder begins their 14th season, I am finally a season-ticket holder. The Thunder hasn’t had fans in the building since March of 2019, and I for one could not be more excited. Yes, it’s almost guaranteed to be another tank season, and I’m more likely to be in the building for a loss than a win, but I’m still pumped. The NBA announced the full schedule for the 2021-22 season Friday afternoon, so without further ado, here are the 10 games that I’m looking forward to attending the most (in chronological order):

OKC Thunder | Game #18: Nets

The Oklahoma City Thunder knocked off Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, and tonight, they have a chance to match their season-high win streak as they host the Brooklyn Nets.

The Thunder Lowdown | Game #9: So Much for Tanking

The Oklahoma City Thunder wrapped up a 5-game road trip on Sunday night as they knocked off Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets 129-116 at Barclays Center. Tanking does not seem to be on the agenda as the victory moves the Thunder to 5-4 on the season, and they continue to win games they probably have no business even competing in.
