Why the Thunder Will Cover (-10)
OKC tallied its 47th double-digit victory of the season on Thursday against the Memphis Grizzlies, and now the Thunder is primed to add to that total against the Indiana Pacers. While still not entirely healthy, OKC’s depth has been a force against just about every team they’ve come across recently. The Pacers can score big points—they just put up 162 against the Washington Wizards in regulation on Thursday—but a guy by the name of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander knows all about scoring, and I’m expecting the home crowd to see another one of those double-digit wins.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (236.5)
The Pacers put up 162 points against the Wizards on Thursday, and what is perhaps the most impressive part of that performance is that Tyrese Haliburton led all scoring with only 29 points. 9 players for Indiana scored in double digits, so the Pacers know how to score, but the Thunder has been putting up solid numbers against more than just the Wizards all season long. While I do think this one will go over the point total, it will probably be pretty close. I don’t see Indiana finding nearly as much success against OKC’s monstrous defense.
