Series History

So far this season, the Thunder is 1-1 against the Lakers (0-1 at home, 1-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-9.5)

OKC has lost no more than two consecutive games this season, and they have only done that twice. I don’t see them giving up a third consecutive loss, especially after letting the Lakers walk all over them on Sunday. Normally, there’s no way I would expect the Thunder to cover by double digits after what happened two days prior. Still, the Lakers have a matchup with the Mavericks tomorrow, and with that being Luka’s return to Dallas, you’d think they would want to be healthy and ready to go. I do expect the game to be fairly close for at least the majority of the first three quarters, but I believe the Thunder will want to avenge Sunday’s embarrassing loss with a big win tonight.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (226.5)

Hitting the over is dependent upon the Thunder pouring on the scoring for a big win. After a rough day on Sunday, OKC should rebound with a quality outing, and while I do believe Los Angeles will score enough to keep it interesting for a while, I think OKC will push the point total over the limit late.
