The Oklahoma City Thunder is finally back at home on Tuesday evening as they play in the second game of a back-to-back, hot off the heels of a 101-94 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. The Thunder returns to OKC with 3 straight road wins to move to 4-0 on the season, and now they host the Sacramento Kings.
The Kings are off to a 1-2 start, nothing out of the ordinary for Sacramento fans, so OKC should be able to take care of business. However, the Thunder led by 22 in the fourth quarter in Dallas last night before allowing the Mavs to cut the deficit to just 1 point with under a minute to go. OKC was able to close out, but it’d be nice to see the Thunder put Sacramento away without issue.
The Thunder will be without Chet Holmgren tonight due to lower back soreness that has been ailing him for the last several days. Despite playing well in the last couple of games, he’ll get tonight off to rest. On the bright side, Alex Caruso is set to make his return to action after entering concussion protocol following the season opener at home a week ago.
