Series History

OKC is 1-0 against Golden State so far this season (1-0 at home, 0-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-11.5)

OKC continues to deal with injuries to key players—Isaiah Hartenstein, Luguentz Dort, Alex Caruso are all out tonight—but the Warriors are missing Stephen Curry, and Jimmy Butler is questionable to play. The Thunder seems to find a way to win regardless of who is healthy, usually on the back of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but it’s not always easy. Even though the Warriors are without Curry, and especially if Butler can play, I think this will be a single-digit game when the final horn sounds.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (222.5)

Golden State’s offense is not what it used to be, and missing your top scorer is never a good recipe for putting up points, but they still hit a lot of threes, and that’s an area that could keep the Warriors in the game against one of the league’s top offenses and defenses. Because I think the game will be somewhat close, I’m taking the over on the point total.
