Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-8)
The Thunder traveled from OKC to Minnesota last night after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers, and Minnesota had a day off. That alone makes me think the game might be a little on the closer side. However, Anthony Edwards has missed the last few games, and he’s questionable for tonight. If he’s able to go, expect a tight game. If he doesn’t, perhaps OKC could open it up a bit. I’m leaning towards a Timberwolves cover, though.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (230.5)
Even though the Thunder played just last night, the game wasn’t particularly close in the second half, plus it was coming off 4 days of rest, so I expect the defense to be just as locked in tonight in Minnesota. I’m feeling pretty comfortable about this under, even if Anthony Edwards does play for the Timberwolves.
