Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-8.5)

OKC is 1-2 against Minnesota this season, and the Thunder hasn’t covered in any of those three games. These two teams know each other VERY WELL, and as a result, it’s created a lot of close meetings over the last couple of seasons. 5 of the last 7 regular-season games between the Thunder and the Timberwolves have been decided by single digits, and I think this one will be the same. One thing to keep an eye on: Anthony Edwards is listed as questionable with knee soreness, but I anticipate that he plays. If he has to miss, the Timberwolves could struggle to stay afloat. Isaiah Hartenstein is questionable as well, and while I don’t think he plays, he would help the Thunder out tremendously down low. While I’m taking the Thunder to win, I like Minnesota to cover.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (226.5)

Something about a noon tip-off feels like energy is going to be questionable early. I’m not sure if that’s going to impact offense or defense more, but only 1 of the 3 meetings this season has gone over this point total. I’m expecting a physical game with a lower score.
