Oklahoma Continues Recruiting Surge with Commitments from Malahn Green and Jaxon Lawler

Brent Venables and the Oklahoma Sooners continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail.

Fresh off another successful June camp period, Oklahoma landed a pair of commitments that perfectly illustrate the program’s ability to identify talent, move quickly, and close the deal. Wide receiver Malahn Green and offensive lineman Jaxon Lawler both pledged to the Sooners after earning scholarship offers earlier this month, giving Oklahoma two more additions to an already loaded 2027 recruiting class.

While neither prospect arrived in Norman carrying five-star status or a national spotlight, both players left campus knowing they had found the place they wanted to call home.

And Oklahoma’s coaching staff felt exactly the same way.
