Cody Thomas played both football and baseball at the University of Oklahoma and paved the way for what Kyler Murray is doing right now. The thing is, Thomas was never in line to be the starting quarterback for the Sooners. Knowing that baseball was his future, the two-sport athlete chose to follow that path, ultimately going to the Dodges in the 13th round of of the 2016 MLB Draft.
