The Oklahoma City Thunder kicked off their preseason on Sunday with a 112-101 victory in Denver over the Nuggets, and tonight the Thunder will carry on a tradition of playing a preseason game at the BOK Center in Tulsa when they host the Dallas Mavericks. This is the first of just three preseason games for the Mavericks, and unfortunately, they will be without several key guys, including Luka Doncic.
OKC’s youth has excelled in the absence of key players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort. While they haven’t put together too many wins, they have managed to stay competitive, and the heavy minutes played in moments like these should pay dividends down the road. Tonight the Thunder hosts the San Antonio Spurs, who are dealing with their own struggles this season.
