The Thunder picked up their 42nd win of the season last year against the Sacramento Kings by a score of 131-116. The game took place in Sacramento on February 29th. Coming into this win the Thunder were struggling both offensively and defensively in recent games. Oklahoma City had lost four out of its previous five games. They would go on to lose the next two in a row before going on an eight game win streak.
During the 42nd win of the season Russell Westbrook earned his ninth triple-double of the season. He scored 20 points to go along with 15 assists and 13 rebounds. Other notable scorers from the night were Kyle Singler who had 11 points and Enes Kanter with 23. The Thunder had six different players in double figures.
