The Oklahoma City Thunder is starting to rack up the trophies at the NBA Awards show tonight. With nearly the entire team there in support of Russell Westbrook, they got to cheer on another teammate as well. Victor Oladipo won “Dunk of the Year” for his poster over Dwight Howard in December.
When Oladipo came to Oklahoma City last summer, everyone knew that he had some crazy dunking abilities. In fact, we did an entire post on his dunks after the Thunder acquired him. However, I’m not sure any of us were quite ready for what he could actually do.
Check out the dunk that took place in Atlanta here:

Victor Oladipo had a great season for the Thunder, and served as an excellent assistant to Russell Westbrook. Oladipo was able to take over the ball handling for the second unit at times, which gave Westbrook an opportunity to rest. He is still a very young guy, who will be improving his game each year. Westbrook and Dipo will become quite the duo if he can continue to improve like he has in the last few years.
