Oklahoma Sooners Land Second Baseball Commit In As Many Days

Hot on the recruiting trail across all sports, the Norman family grew by one on Tuesday afternoon. Skip Johnson and the Oklahoma Sooners landed a second commitment in as many days when Hudson Head, a member of the 2019 class, announced his decision via social media.

Touting a superhero style name, Head remains a dual sport athlete on the high school circuit. Playing both football and baseball in the San Antonio area, the future is set for the junior on the diamond. Standing 6’ tall, Head projects well as an outfielder but has also stepped onto the mound as a left-handed pitcher when needed.

Showcasing patience at the plate with the ability to drive the ball, Head holds a secret weapon deep within the arsenal. That hidden talent is the deceptive speed the junior possesses. As the high school standout bulks up, Head should prove to be an asset on the collegiate level.

Welcome aboard!
