As fans get a taste of football in the coming weeks, the upcoming season seems as though it couldn’t arrive any faster. Putting the finishing touches on preparations ahead of fall camp, the Oklahoma State Cowboys remain one signee short of a full class. A 6’5″ receiver and EPSN 300 member, C.J. Moore’s status remains uncertain.
First reporting the news, Mark Cooper of Tulsa World cites very specific reasons for Moore’s absence on campus. Working to obtain eligibility, the recent high school graduate continues to put the finishing touches on any and all academic requirements. Fortunately, the university will receive an answer on July 27 as it pertains to the former Tulsa Union star.
Over a year ago, Moore committed to play for Gundy in Stillwater. Despite any issues, the wideout has already been added to the official roster and assigned a jersey number. The long time commit has the ability to change the game for the Cowboys given the opportunity.
