For the second consecutive year Oklahoma will open up play at the Big 12 Tournament against Baylor. The Bears Beat Oklahoma twice in the 2018 Big 12 Tournament (4-0 and 10-3).
The Sooners own a 46-41 overall advantage against Baylor, but the Bears hold a 5-3 advantage over Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship.
Big 12 Championship History
The Sooners are one of just two conference teams to have made the Big 12 Tournament in each of the league’s 23-year history. OU has won the tournament twice, 1997 and again in 2013. Oklahoma has an overall 38-37 record at the Big 12 Championship Tournament.
Nine Sooners made All-Big 12 in 2019. Sophomore Cade Cavalli was selected as the first team utility player. Junior relief pitcher Jason Ruffcorn and sophomore starter Levi Prater earned second-team honors. Ben Abram and Wyatt Olds were selected to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team. Juniors Brady Lindsly, Nathan Wiles and Brandon Zaragoza and sophomore Tyler Hardman received honorable mention recognition.
