Sooners Take Series At Minnesota

Oklahoma’s weekend on the baseball diamond didn’t get off to a great start but it sure had a great finish. For the fourth consecutive weekend the Sooners split the opening two games of a series to set up a Sunday rubber match. Unlike the last three weekends, OU came out on top in that pivotal final game.

Sooners Secure A Spot In Tallahassee Regional Championship

Things couldn’t have gone better for Oklahoma Baseball on Saturday…well, except for maybe the weather. In the early game of Saturday’s session the host team, Florida State, was eliminated by a dramatic 3-run, 2-out, walk-off home run. Then in the late (much later due to weather) game the Sooners took to the inside track of advancing to the Super Regional by downing Samford 4-0.
