Friday Locks Week 12 | Looking At Some Big S.E.C. Games

LSU (-21) at Ole Miss | LSU is coming off a HUGE win and I think they’re going to keep it rolling like they did over the Tide.

Wisconsin (-14) at Nebraska | Nebraska is not back. Scott Frost has work to do. This game won’t be pretty.

Florida (-6.5) at Missouri | Ever since the Gators made the switch at QB this offense has looked a lot better and this game shouldn’t be close.

LSU (-21.5) at Ole Miss | Solidifying themselves as the top team in the country, the charge is led by Joe Burrow. Able to score at will, I’m not sure any team remaining on the schedule can match the Tigers point for point. With a defense capable of getting stops, Ole Miss could easily find themselves in an empty stadium fairly early in the second half.

Minnesota (+3) at Iowa | The Golden Gophers converted plenty of fans into believers with a win over Penn State. However, the odds makers refuse to respect the team making it an easy pick for me this week.

Rutgers (+52) vs Ohio State | Clearly the best team in the conference, the Buckeyes should have no problem on Saturday. But with Fields and Dobbins headed toward the sideline for the entire second half, 52 points is a large margin to cover. I’ll take my chances here and take the points!

Kansas at Oklahoma State (-17.5) | I have a strict rule of not betting for my own teams, but I have to take the Cowboys on this one. I think they take care of business, and I expect Mike Gundy to want to put it on Les Miles.

Alabama (-17.5) at Mississippi State | The Crimson Tide’s loss to LSU last weekend stings, and Alabama still has a good chance to make the Playoff, so don’t be surprised if they beat the Bulldogs by like 40.

Minnesota (-3.0) at Iowa | This is nothing short of a trap game for the Golden Gophers, but I’m betting that they continue their impressive season with a win  against the Hawkeyes.

Alabama (-18) at Mississippi State | Alabama will look to bounce back after a tough loss to LSU last week. The Tide will win this one by at least three touchdowns.

Florida (-6.5) at Missouri | While playing on the road might be a tough task, the Gators are the far better team in this one. I’d definitely put my money on Florida winning this one at least a touchdown.

Georgia (-2.5) at Auburn | What could go wrong with picking three SEC teams to win on the road? I’ll take Georgia to cover the spread in this one.

Georgia (-2.5) at Auburn | The Bulldogs were gifted a spot in the Top 4 of the latest College Football Playoff Rankings and now must defend their ranking on the road. Auburn is sitting just outside of the Top 10 (#12) and could do themselves a lot of good by defending the home turf. I think the Tigers put up a good fight but fall just short in a Georgia cover.

Navy (+7) at Notre Dame | How about this for a prediction…the wrong team is favored here. The Irish could very well win here but I think they go down by about a field goal. Either way I think Navy covers.

Minnesota (+3) at Iowa | The Gophers scored a huge upset win last week over Penn State but find themselves a three-point dog at Iowa. This game most likely is going to be close by Minnesota stays undefeated.
