While we don’t exactly know who has been invited to the NFL Combine yet we do know, through social media, that Oklahoma cornerback Parnell Motley was not invited.
There’s no denying that Motley had an up-and-down career for the Sooners but there’s also no denying that he absolutely ended with a high note of a senior season.
A first-team All-Big 12 selection in 2019, Motley registered 41 tackles, a team-high 13 pass breakups, a team-high five forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.
As for his time as a whole at Oklahoma, the Washington D.C. native ranks fifth all-time in program history with 33 pass breakups.
Not getting invited to the combine doesn’t necessarily give him the “undraftable” label as some have assumed. Motley will still have Oklahoma’s Pro Day to show NFL scouts what he can do, as well as private team workouts and meetings that are often scheduled before the draft.
