Sooners Return To The Polls

Fresh of a 33-14 road win at TCU the Sooners have returned to the Top 25. Oklahoma finds itself at #24 in both the AP Top 25 and the Coaches Poll. Both sets of rankings put OU back in following consecutive wins over Texas and TCU. The Sooners had dropped out of both sets of rankings following a road loss at Iowa State on October 3rd.

At #24 Oklahoma is the lowest ranked team from the Big 12 conference in either poll. There are four total teams from the Big 12 in the AP, led by Oklahoma State who maintained the #6 spot following Saturday’s win over Iowa State. Kansas State checks in at #16 and then the Cyclones are ranked ahead of the Sooners at #23.
