If you were wondering if Oklahoma is finished with the 2021 recruiting class then the answer is no. The Sooners currently sit with the #1 class in the Big 12 and the #10 class nationally but they still are looking to add to the collection of 16 signees.
One spot they’re looking at is offensive tackle where Dallas, Texas (Parish Episcopal High School) standout Austin Uke became the latest player to earn a 2021 offer from the Sooners.
At 6-4/264, Uke is rated as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports. He’s earned 22 scholarship offers to this point, including the likes of Penn State, USC, and Florida State. Big 12 opponents TCU and Texas are also on the list of teams to offer but it looks like SMU may be the biggest competitor for Oklahoma at this point. Uke currently has two crystal ball predictions and they are both for him to play for the Mustangs. We’ll see if Oklahoma’s offer changes that at all.
The Sooners have two offensive linemen signed for 2021. Duncanville, Texas tackle Savion Byrd is a 4-star prospect and Bellaire, Texas guard Cullen Montgomery is rated as a 3-star prospect.
