Series History
The Thunder and the Suns have played twice so far this season. OKC lost both meetings in Phoenix.
Why the Thunder Will Cover (+10.0)
The Suns are the best team in the NBA right now, but they’re missing Chris Paul. Meanwhile, the Thunder tends to cover the spread, AND Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is returning from a sprained ankle. As a result, I could see OKC making a game out of this, at least for a little while.
Staff Picks
Why the Game Won’t Hit the Over (219)
The Suns tout one of the league’s high-scoring offenses, as well as a solid defense, while the Thunder has the lowest scoring offense in the NBA, but also a quality defense. Factor in the absence of Chris Paul, and I can’t help but think there’s no way this point total breaks 219.
