Series History

The Thunder has lost to the Timberwolves three times already this season.

Why the Thunder Will Cover (+14.5)

OKC failed to cover a big spread for the second time in the last week last night against the Milwaukee Bucks, but I think they’re going to bounce back tonight with a much better performance. It’s difficult to blow a team out twice in five days, and after the Timberwolves dominated the Thunder on Friday night, I just don’t think they can manage it again in such a short period of time. OKC is 6-3 when the spread is between 13 and 16 points, and the Thunder is exceptional at covering on the road, so I’m trusting them to do what they do.

Staff Picks

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (231.5)

The Thunder offense has been putting up solid numbers since returning from the All-Star Break, and the Timberwolves put up the second-highest points per game in the league. Match Minnesota’s high-powered offense with their mediocre defense that allows a lot of points, and I’m thinking this could be yet another high-scoring affair. I’m taking the over with confidence.
