A thrilling sequence late in the second quarter of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s first preseason game on Monday fueled a 19-point comeback over the visiting San Antonio Spurs as Chet Holmgren popped off in his debut with 21 points and 9 rebounds.
Now the Thunder is set to take on the Detroit Pistons in Montreal, the home of Luguentz Dort. The Pistons are another one of the league’s younger teams, and fans will be excited to see Cade Cunningham in his first action since last December when he suffered a leg injury that required surgery and kept him out for the remainder of the season.
After resting in Monday’s game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will make his preseason debut for OKC, and Thunder fans will get their first glimpse of what will likely be the starting lineup on opening night.
