Series History
The Thunder are 1-0 against the Grizzlies so far this season (1-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (-15.0)
This is one of the largest spreads of the season for OKC, but with good reason. The Thunder are entirely healthy and playing some of the best basketball in the entire NBA while the Grizzlies are basically dead in the water. Literally almost the entire roster is on the injury report, and they’re struggling to put guys on the floor. Give them some credit for staying somewhat competitive. Regardless, I think the Thunder at home are just far too good for the Grizzlies to keep this one close. Memphis might keep it around 10 points for a while, but I think OKC pushes far over that and covers the spread by the final buzzer.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (219.5)
The Memphis Grizzlies have been known for their defense for as long as I can remember, and while that’s still kind of true, it’s hard to maintain the same level of intensity when you’re not healthy. OKC is a scoring machine, and I think that will be on full display tonight, so regardless of how close this game is, I can definitely see it going over on the point total.
