Series History
The Thunder went 2-0 against the Chicago Bulls last season (1-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-10)
I managed to lock in the Bulls at +10.5, but either way, I think Chicago keeps this to a single-digit spread. OKC is clearly the better team in the matchup, but the Bulls defeated the Bucks by double digits just last night. Still, the Thunder have fresh legs, while Chicago is playing in the second game of a back-to-back. Take it all into consideration, and I anticipate a game that will likely hover around the spread until closing a little closer in the final minutes.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (232.5)
I’m not sure how often the Thunder will go over on the point total this season due to their defensive prowess. Holding Denver to just 87 points on Thursday was a solid way to start the season, but they only managed 102 points themselves. I think tonight’s meeting in Chicago will feature quite a few more points, perhaps more so late in the game.
