2024 Big 12 Football Power Rankings | Week 11

BYU didn’t play last week, but the bye was definitely kind to them. As the Cougars were home, resting and healing, Iowa State was getting beaten on its home turf. That sets us up for a new No.1 in our power rankings for the first time in six weeks. There wasn’t a lot of punishment for the Cyclones, believing they’re still a favorite to head to Arlington next month, but Colorado has definitely moved into competition.

Make sure to check out our individual rankings below.

1. BYU | The Cougars were idle, and they are now firmly in the driver’s seat to make it to the Big 12 Championship game.

2. Colorado | Genuinely never thought I’d have the Buffaloes this high on the list, but they’ve done everything to prove they deserve to be here, at least for now.

3. Iowa State | Losing to Texas Tech in a close one isn’t the worst thing in the world for the Cyclones. If they win out, they’ll still make it to the Big 12 Championship game.
