Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-8.5)
OKC and Houston are very similar in a lot of ways, but the Thunder is definitely a more advanced version. I feel like it’s a 50/50 shot that OKC wins by double-digits, but at the same time, it could be a very close game, and that’s what I’m leaning towards. 8.5 points seems like 4 points too many for me, so I’m going to take Houston to cover in a game where OKC will win by 4 or 5 points.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (220.5)
The Thunder and the Rockets have two of the top defenses in the NBA, and for that reason alone, I thin it’s going to be a lower score. Both teams have the ability to score in bunches, which will probably happen at times, but I don’t see this one going a total of 210 let alone into the 220s.
