Series History

The Thunder is 1-1 against the Mavs so far this season (1-0 at home, 0-1 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-8.5)

This absolutely feels like a trap game for OKC. After a monster win last night at home against Cleveland, the Thunder could easily let down on the road in the second game of a back-to-back against a team without its best player in Luka Doncic and maybe without Kyrie Irving. Still, I think OKC knows that they have to re-focus, and in the end, the Mavericks should not be able to hang with the Thunder for four quarters considering who they are missing. OKC should win by double digits, so I’m taking them to cover.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (224.5)

OKC’s starters got plenty of rest after dominating Cleveland last night through the first three quarters, so they shouldn’t be all that tired tonight. Still, it’s the second game of a back-to-back, plus they had to travel, so maybe Dallas scores a few more points than they would have under normal circumstances. Either way, I think the Mavs struggle to stop the Thunder, so I’m thinking over on this point total.
